The Bedford Borough Physical Disabilities and Sensory Impairment Board is aware of the challenges regularly faced by people with disabilities when getting around the town and accessing facilities.  The Board want to start addressing these issues by raising awareness and understanding on International Day of Disabled People - 3rd December 2010.

They need help from disabled people to plan and organise the event, decide which issues should be highlighted and who they should be highlighted to, eg: the Mayor, Planning Managers, Car Park Managers, Social Care Managers etc.

They would like to invite people with disabilities and anyone else who is concerned to attend a short meetiing on Monday 13th September, from 10.30am at Borough Hall, Cauldwell Street.
